You never have to go trolling for stocks again.
When trading options, I strongly believe that you need a Watchlist. A list of symbols that you can flip through quickly and easily to identify trading possibilities.
The alternative is to waste countless hours surfing online, reading the WSJ or IBD, watching Cramer every night looking for your next trading idea.
Then when you actually find a stock you like, you have to find out if it is optionable, is liquid enough to trade, is volatile enough to give you enough premium, etc.
And this is all before you even decide on a strategy to use.
Just use The Top Stocks as your Watchlist.
These symbols have plenty of premium, volatility, strikes, and liquidity to trade just about any strategy you want.
And we even list the ones with weekly contracts if that suits your fancy.
A Word of Advice: You do not need to trade all of these. You can narrow this list down as you see fit.
When looking for a trade, I go through the charts of all the symbols on my Watchlist. If I find a chart I like, I dig further and investigate strategies.
But I like to keep it simple. My favorite trade is something I call The Layup Spread.
It’s a super simple trade in which I look for setups with an 80% of more probability of success and a potential ROI of 10% or more per month.
One of the unexpected benefits of using a Watchlist is the development of a Sixth Sense.
By going through the same charts and watching the same stocks over time, eventually you can predict with uncanny accuracy how a stock will behave.
My wife calls it “freaky”. I can tell when a stock I have been watching is “not behaving properly” and that allows me to either stay away or to exit the trade if I am already in the stock.
Over the years, this ability has saved me thousands in losses.
And I give all the credit to my Watchlist.
And now you have your own, professionally curated, Watchlist as well.
