SimonSaysOptions.com is run by Spill The Beans Research LLC.
Spill The Beans aims to provide individual investors with the knowledge and resources to live their lives on their own terms. We do this by exposing investment strategies that are little known to the general public but used by the well off to increase their income and net worth, while at the same time protecting their investment capital.
Selling credit spreads is one such example. Options are referred to in the general media as a danger. Derivatives are considered evil and very risky. Investment advisors and financial planners never discuss options trading with their customers, mainly because they don’t earn commissions from it, but also because they themselves do not understand them.
But there are two sides to every coin. If buying options is risky, then it can be argued that the other side, selling options, must be safe. Nothing in life is guaranteed except death and taxes, but if traded properly with sound money management, selling credit spreads can be a viable alternative investment strategy.
Simon is our head trader. We use his proprietary trade selection process to hunt through thousands of trade opportunities to find the few gems that have the best chance of a positive outcome.
Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Simon has spent decades analyzing and trading the markets. He started in commodities while still in high school. He used his college financial aid money to trade stocks and was able to pay off his student loans from the profits.
In 2007 he turned his attention to selling options and has since done over 10,000 option trades.
Referred to by some in the industry as the “King of the Credit Spread”, Simon has focused his attention on credit spreads as his primary strategy for the past several years and has refined his trading to a science.
Simon lives with his high school sweetheart wife and their two young boys.
We also have two junior traders on staff. These folks support Simon in trade research and management of the selections. Each is a seasoned trader and has been thoroughly trained by Simon in the art and science of credit spread trading.
